Spirit Week

We had lots of fun during Spirit Week. Early Childhood wore purple on Color Day.

We had a baseball player and a train engineer on Career Day.

We had fun on crazy hat and hair day too!

Everyone made an octopus to add to the Octopus' Garden.

Water fun!

The children experimented with colored water to make different colors.
We made bubbles in the water too.

We played a fishing for letters game and used nets to catch fish at the water table.

The children used water colors to paint fish. We read "Rainbow Fish ABC" and put our fish on a large piece of enroll. Check out our ocean picture.

A visit from the Vet.

The PM class was able to visit with a Veterinary Technician. Ms. Yvonne showed the class how to take care of pets. She also gave everyone a chance to bandage the leg of their pet cat or bunny. Ms. Yvonne showed us how to take care of Honey or class pet.

Dr. Lori Coughlin visited our AM class. She showed us how she examines Cats at her office. She also showed us several X-rays of animals. The children were able to guess what kind of pet it was. She also showed us some of her tools.

Pets

Ms. Ashley showed the class how to take care of a pet bunny.

We had a dog show.

Everyone had a chance to show off their dog.

Snow!

We had a fun time playing in the snow!

P is for Pets and Pennies

We are collecting pennies for the Holmes School Student council funraiser. We are counting them and putting the pennies in the piggy bank.

The children sorted big and little dogs bones at table time.

We played in the pet store this week at Dramatic Play.

We are taking care of our Dogs!

We sang "There is a Dog at School" at Circle time.
We played "Doggie, Doggie, Where is your bone?" at group time.

M is for Mittens!

We played a matching mitten game. Each child found the matching mitten and made a "Pair".

Each child had a chance to find the matching mitten and hang it up on the clothes line. The children matched letters or colors.
