Welcome Back!

The children played in the sand table at Center time.

This week we made playdough. We poured and mixed the ingredients.

The children had lots of fun meeting new friends and learning new routines. We used the manipulatives at Tabletime and built with blocks at the block center.

Water and Bubble Day.

The weather was rainy, but we had fun indoors with the water tables and bubbles.

We planted seeds in the Holmes School Garden.

Some of the children had a chance to taste some vegetables.

We will look at the garden in the Fall to see what grew!

Neighborhood Appreciation Day!

It was Neighborhood Appreciation Day at Holmes School.

Each class made a card and delivered a small gift to our neighbors.

We walked over to our neighbor's house and left our card and gift.

Seeds and Flowers

We planted flower seeds. We scooped the dirt, put a seed in the hole, added more dirt, then added water. We are waiting for the sprouts to grow.

T is for Tree

We learned

about trees this week. We went on a tree hunt on the

playground. We found big and little trees.

We looked to see if the trees had buds, blossoms or leaves.
