The Farm in the Zoo

We visited the Farm in the Zoo.  We saw ducks, cows, a pig, chicks and a horse.

C is for Cow

We learned about cows this week.  We played a cookie dunking game at toys and games.  The children had to find the cow's "MOO".

We looked at cows on the computer. 

The children matched letters to animal name cards.

We played a color matching farm game too.

The children made letters with the playdough.  We made big and little lines.

We are learning about the farm and farm animals this month.

We read  books about who lives in a barn.

 

 

 

 

 

The children made a barn picture.

We played at the playtable with the big Barn and all of the farm animals.

Another Kindergarten visit.

In the Dramatic Play Center.  We were making apple pies.

A is for apple.

We made applesauce! We cut the apples with the apple slicer and put the slices in the food mill. The applesauce was delicious.

We glued apples on the "A".

We counted apples too!

The children looked at the apples at the Discovery Center.
